has risen to success both home and abroad.

The
Spanish artist known for dark and sensual paintings of
females is Luis Royo. He became famous for developing
wild illustrations of Julie Strain, a Penthouse Pet of the
Year in 1993, for the move Heavy Metal. The 2012 Luis
Royo calendar stays true to his style, with women
throughout. The science fiction magazine Heavy Metal
showed interest in Royo's work in the late 1990's and was
commissioned to design the cover of their 20th anniversary
edition. That Heavy Metal influence is seen within the
pages of the Luis Royo 2012 calendar. Now 55 years
old, Royo still creates art for a variety of media such as
videogames and album covers.
