In the
1960's and the early 1970's, a powerful automobile was
created that featured monster V8 engines. The muscle
car continues to be a hot seller today, with the Chevy
Corvette and the Ford Mustang still in production.
These 2012 American Muscle Car calendars have some of the
old and some of the new. The Pontiac GTO is one of the
more famous classic muscle cars. It was produced from
1964-1974 and had a 6.9L V8. The car is shown above in
the Xtreme Muscle Car 2012 calendar. The description
of a muscle car is typically a 2-door, high-performance
vehicle at a reasonable price. For example, the 1970
Plymouth GTX 440 had a base retail price of only $3,355. |
