Rising
to prominence in the hippie generation of the 1960's was the
Volkswagen Bus. Since the van could carry a large
number of people, it was practical for liberal groups.
It was also a statement of rebellion and anti-war. The
2012 Volkswagen Bus calendar shows the evolution of the van
over the decades. Back in the '60's, the VW symbol on
the front was replaced with a peace symbol. Many were
also custom painted to reflect the owner's unique
personality. You'll find many designs inside the
