Although most are familiar with the story from Disney's
animated version in 1950, the original story of Cinderella
was a folk tale from more than a century ago. The
unjust oppression that turns magically into victory is the
theme that surrounds the young lady. The 2012
Cinderella calendar commemorates the 60th anniversary of the
classic film. The movie received Academy Award
nominations and was such a huge success that it helped
Disney build Disneyland and begin television production.
The beautiful coach from the fairy tale is prominent on the
cover of the Cinderella 2012 calendar. The film has
been re-released multiple times since 1950, with the last
one being a restored version in 2005. |
