Twenty
four lakes comprise the stunning city of Minneapolis, the
largest in Minnesota. Called the City of Lakes for
obvious reasons, Minneapolis protect their waterways through
the park system. They have designed walkways, jogging
paths, and many other recreational activities around them.
The 2012 Minneapolis and St. Paul calendars feature lakes
right on the cover. St. Paul is considered the twin
city as the populations are melded together due to their
proximity. A full sixty percent of the people of
Minnesota live in the area of these twin cities. The
2012 Minneapolis and St. Paul calendars consider the two one
in the same. As urban sprawl occurs, it is harder and
harder to differentiate between where one city starts and
another one ends. |
