Although the Big Apple gets most of the attention and
fanfare, New York State has so much more to offer than city
life. With the Adirondack Mountains and Lake Champlain
on the east, the Catskill Mountains to the south, and a
Great Lake to the west, it is a diverse geography. The
2012 New York calendars start you off with cover photos of a
waterfall and an amazing lake. The northern portion of
the state is remarkably peaceful as it is not inhabited by
many folks. This is especially true near the border
with Vermont. New York's capital is Albany, but it
also boasts cities such as Rochester and Buffalo. These are,
of course, in addition to New York City and their five
boroughs. The New York State 2012 calendars avoid
these towns and concentrate their efforts to the north and
west. The state is a melting pot for diversity as
well. Many races and religions comprise the residents. |
