The
Beaver State with the majestic Pacific coastline and rugged
terrain inland is the State of Oregon. Situated below
Washington and north of California, Oregon can lay claim to
one of the most diverse terrains of any state. The
2010 Oregon calendars demonstrate the vast differences.
On the left, the 2010 calendar cover show the Pacific Ocean
crashing against the landscape, with a lighthouse in the
foreground. The Oregon calendar to the right shows
snowy mountains along with forests and flowers. Such
is the case when you travel the state. Oregon has been
in the news lately, as Mount Hood, the highest peak in the
state, has captured a number of climbers. Some are
rescued by the amazing search and rescue teams, but some
have not been as fortunate. |
