The
Evergreen State of Washington is named after the first
President of the United States. It is named after
George Washington even though it was not admitted into the
union until 1889, many decades after the president had
passed on. The 2012 Washington calendars feature Mount
Rainier in many of the photos. It is a magnificent
backdrop to the Seattle skyline and to other lakes, fields,
and streams in the region. The Washington 2012
calendars take you from the Pacific Ocean to the rural areas
of Spokane. Once you get away from the Seattle and
Puget Sound region, there is little habitation. For
being in the upper northwest portion of America, the weather
in Washington is very mild. Although they get a lot of
snow in the Cascades, the coast gets very little. |
