Originally part of the Commonwealth of Virginia, the State
of West Virginia was established in 1863 during the Civil
War. Even though it is situated in the northern part
of the United States, West Virginia is considered to be part
of the South because it is below the Mason-Dixon line.
However, it does border Maryland and Pennsylvania. The
2012 West Virginia calendars show how unique it is from its
counterpart to the east. With a nickname of the
Mountain State, you can be sure you'll get some
awe-inspiring views. The West Virginia 2012 calendar
brings the mountains right into your living room.
Also, there is Spruce Cobb, New River Gorge Bridge, and
other picturesque sites. |
