The
Bruins from UCLA have an impressive all-time record of
514-347 and have four former players in the Pro Football
Hall of Fame. Troy Aikman is their most well known HOF
alum, but Jimmy Johnson, Bob Waterfield, and Tom Fears came
before him and were just as talented. This 2012 UCLA
Bruins football calendar shows the old days when guys like
Waterfield played quarterback and led the team to victory.
It was in 1954 when UCLA won their first and only college
football national championship. That was twenty years
after this UCLA Bruins 2012 calendar cover. A game in
Spaulding Stadium in 1934 graces the cover. UCLA went
7-3 that season under William H. Spaulding. Today, the
Bruins play in the Pac-10 Conference, where they go up
against perennial national contender and rival USC. |
