Originally the Arenas and then the St. Patricks, the ice
hockey team from Toronto did not become the Maple Leafs
until 1927. They have won thirteen championships in
all, with two coming before the name change. New
players adorn the 2012 Toronto Maple Leafs team calendar.
Their top guns are Mats Sundin, Darcy Tucker, Michael Peca,
Bryan McCabe, and Tomas Kaberle. A majority of the
Toronto Maple Leafs players are from Canada, but some hail
from the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Ukraine. They
have retired two players in their 80 year history. On
