With
Joseph Simmons as Rev Run, Darryl McDaniels as DMC, and
Jason Mikell as Jam-Master Jay, the band Run-DMC was formed.
It all started in 1983 and they quickly jumped into the
spotlight. The cover of the 2012 Run DMC calendars is
all about their hands. Jam-Master Jay was murdered on
October 30, 2002 when he was shot at a recording studio in
Queens. His death effectively ended the band.
However, the music of the group lives on. Run-DMC
accomplished a lot in their time and these Run DMC 2012
