Below are two
Africa calendars for 2012
from our scenic continents category. The immense
continent of Africa covers one-fifth of the earth's land mass, but
is far behind in development. The 2012 Africa calendars
feature the vast area and the citizens. |
Africa 2012 Calendars
|
Covering one-fifth of the land surface of the Earth is the
continent of Africa. The massive area has generally
been poor and destitute for thousands of years, despite
attempts by a number of European countries to colonize
different sections. The 2012 Africa calendars
demonstrate the unique style of the locals and the
never-ending landscapes in many parts. Battles have
raged on in many nations with Africa. The most
horrific is the genocide taking place in Sudan, a country on
the northeast section of the continent. The government
in that country continues to commit atrocities in Darfur.
International peacekeepers may be placed in the large
African nation. That conflict aside, the Africa 2012
calendars focus on the culture and the people. Many
have tribal backgrounds and have had to fight against
colonization. |
