The Big
Easy, otherwise known as New Orleans, is located on the
Mississippi River in Louisiana. The population prior
to Hurricane Katrina was approximately 485,000, but has
since plummeted to around 200,000. The 2012 New
Orleans calendars show parts of the city that remain
spectacular and beautiful. About 55% of the city is
under sea level. Some areas of New Orleans are a solid
10 feet under sea level. That was one of the primary
reasons the city was devastated by the hurricane.
After the levees broke, water flowed into the city until it
leveled off with the lake. These New Orleans 2012
calendars pay tribute to the city that was and will be once
again. It might take ten years, but Nawlins will be
