Portugal 2012 Calendars
|
On the
Iberian Peninsula in the southwest of Europe is the nation
of Portugal. With Lisbon as the capital, this country
was founded in the year 868 and is governed as a
Parliamentary republic. The National Geographic 2012
Portugal calendar captures amazing scenery with landscapes
and development along the water. Jose Socrates is the
current Prime Minister and Anibal Cavaco Silva is the
President. On the Portugal 2012 calendar, a view of
the Atlantic Ocean from an elevated position takes your
breath away. The region dates back to the Muslim
Moors, who settled there in the 8th century. However,
the territory of the Moors was taken by the year 1249.
By the 15th century, the Portugal empire was a major
powerful. It is now a developed nation that promotes
peace. |
