on the southern tip of Vancouver Island in British Colombia
is the capital city of Victoria. The tourist location
is home to only 78,000 in the city and 330,000 in the metro
area, but over 3.5 million people visit every year.
This 2013 Victoria and Vancouver Island calendar
demonstrates why everyone flocks here. The temperate
climate (for Canada) and the exquisite inner harbor are just
a couple of the attractions. The harbor is seen on the
cover of the Victoria & Vancouver Island 2013 calendar up
above. Fisherman's Wharf is yet another hot spot, as
houseboats, restaurants, and seaplanes fill up the area.
Vancouver Island itself is 290 miles long and 50 miles wide
and has a total population slightly over 650,000.
