A
constituent country within the nation of the United Kingdom,
Wales is a bi-lingual country with Welsh and English as the
official languages. It was unified in the year 1056,
is set up as a constitutional monarchy, and is home to over
3 million folks. The 2012 Wales calendar displays
castles, standing stones, and other structures that
demonstrate how long this country has been around. One
such castle is the Dolwyddelan Castle, a 13th century
building comprised of two towers linked together by a
curtain wall. In addition to such history, there are
also beaches, landscapes, and mountains in this Wales 2012
calendar. When visiting the country of Wales, be sure
to see the Summit of Snowdon, the Three Cliff Bay, and the
clock tower of Cardiff City hall. |
