The motto that led the 2004 Boston Red Sox to a World Series victory. In 2003, the motto was "Cowboy Up", but in 2004, they changed their slogan to "Believe". It seems to have worked, as the Boston Red Sox ended an 86-year old curse by defeating the New York Yankees in the American League Championship Series and then going on to sweep the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series. This Boston Red Sox poster shows the wild celebration in three separate photos. It also shows a portion of the box score for each of the seven games. Since the Red Sox lost the first three games, they had to pull together to win games four, five, six, and seven.
