Schloss Neuschwanstein Castle Posters

This extraordinary building is a popular tourist destination and was home to King Ludwig II of Bavaria in the 19th century.  Ludwig was considered odd and eccentric, but he built this castle with his own money.  He lived from 1845 - 1886 and was king from 1864 until his untimely demise.  His death was surrounded in mystery.  Not too long after his passing, the building was opened up to the public and inside they saw amazing rooms and views.  The castle itself was not finished when he died, so only 14 rooms were completely decorated.  It is featured in the 1968 movie "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang".
