The Dynasty began in 2001 and became official on February
6th, 2005. The New England Patriots overpowered the
hapless Philadelphia Eagles 20-17 to capture their third
title in four years under head coach Bill Belichick.
Tom Brady led the Patriots and improved his overall record in
playoff games to 9-0. Deion Branch made a huge effort
and captured the Super Bowl MVP. In the photo is
Rodney Harrison, the strong safety who solidified the
defensive secondary; Tom Brady, the do-no wrong quarterback;
Tedy Bruschi, the middle linebacker who stuffed everyone;
Willie McGinest, who plays defensive line and was in his
fourth Championship game as a New England Patriot; Corey Dillon, the
maligned running back; and Richard Seymour, perhaps the best
defensive lineman in the game. Corey Dillon was able
to win his first Super Bowl Championship as a player. |
