This picture shows three pee-wee football players walking off the field in victory. Youth football is extremely popular in the United States. Kids start from an early age. There are Pop Warner leagues, which are generally for middle-school aged children and there is flag and touch football as well. When they get old enough, high school football awaits and then college ball. If they are good enough still to play professionally, there are a number of leagues besides the NFL (National Football League). Pro leagues include the Canadian Football League (CFL) and the Arena League. |
