FDNY Ground Zero Posters

Firefighters raise the flag of the United States of America in front of "Ground Zero"; what was the World Trade Centers in New York City.  The World Trade Centers attack occurred on September 11, 2001 after terrorists flew two commercial planes into the buildings.  Many civilians and many firefighters lost their lives that day.  The American flag being raised signifies the strength and the resiliency of the United States of America.  The enormous pile of rubble and debris that is behind them is the remnants of the World Trade Centers after they collapsed.  9/11 was the worst attack on U.S. soil since the tragedy at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.  It has been named "Ground Zero" by the many who visit the site.
