A sport that is becoming increasingly popular.
It is a motorcycle sport that involves racing through rugged
terrain. It generally has about 40 men racing and
there are no man made jumps like you would have in
Supercross or other motorcycle racing events. To
compete at these levels, the individual must have great
balance and immense skill. The Motocross bikes are
extremely lightweight and are made with either a two or four
stroke engine and run anywhere from 50cc to 550cc. The
actual tournament involves running a set number of laps
around a designated area. The riders can be seen
performing to the limit of what the bike is capable of. |
