It also featured Talia Shire as Adrian and Carl Weathers as Apollo Creed. Rocky is a tough kid from the rough neighborhoods of Philly who is working with a loan shark to make ends meet. He gets the chance of a lifetime when he is picked out by Apollo Creed to fight for the heavyweight title. Creed is the reigning champion and he wanted to fight an unknown opponent. The odds are long, but he prevails.
