One of the young male movie stars whose stock is on the rise.
Heath Ledger was born in Australia in April, 1979, and traveled to
Sidney around the age of 20 to pursue an acting career.
He landed some small parts, but later came to the United
States to try his luck on the big scene. Heath Ledger got the role as the lead in the movie "Two Hands", which led to a spot in "Ten Things I Hate About You". In Ledger's mind, he
was being typecast for his good looks, so he took a more
dramatic role in "The Patriot", which starred Mel Gibson.
In this "A Knight's Tale" poster above, it is more of a
spoof comedy. Heath Ledger is currently working on "The Brothers
Grimm" and "Casanova". |
