work. If you look closely, you can see a man in an
open door of the lighthouse looking on at the waves.
The man is Theodore Malgorne and he is the keeper of the
lighthouse. He looks incredibly tiny next to the ocean
waters rushing up to the left and right of him. His
only protection is the structure itself. He had come
out to see the helicopter with Jean Guichard in it taking
pictures. He was not harmed. This photo is just
one in a series of seven that captured this moment.
