Martin Luther King Jr. Posters

Perhaps the greatest American civil rights leader that ever lived.  Martin Luther King Jr. was born in April of 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Morehouse College with a Bachelor's degree in 1948.  He then went on to Boston University, where he received a Ph.D. in 1955.  In 1953, Martin Luther King Jr. wed Coretta Scott and in the next ten years, they had four children together.  In 1954, Martin Luther King Jr. became a pastor at a church in Alabama.  He led marches, activism, and fought for the rights of blacks on many key issues.  Martin Luther King's most famous speech is called "I Have a Dream".  It is seen in the poster above and is often celebrated on the U.S. holiday that was established in his name.
