World Series, Pittsburgh, 1960 Posters

On top of one of the largest buildings, a number of spectators get an incredible view of the World Series in Pittsburgh in 1960.  From their perch, they could see almost the entire park where the Pirates played.  In this 1960 championship series, the Pittsburgh Pirates of the National League played the hated New York Yankees from the American League.  The series was all tied up at three games apiece as they played a deciding game 7.  The baseball game was a slugfest, as both teams scored many runs, and as they went to the bottom of the ninth inning, the score was tied at nine.  It was then that Bill Mazeroski hit a walk-off home run to win the World Series for the Pirates.
