One of the first stars of the silent film era was Felix the Cat. Before plasma television and your standard television shows and cartoons, silent shows and movies ruled the day. It was in 1919 that Felix the Cat was created. Throughout the 1920's, he became incredibly popular and appeared in many movies in the next 10+ years. These Felix the Cat t-shirts show the mischievous feline causing trouble. When sound was introduced into film, many shows could not make the adjustment and Felix the Cat was no exception. Since then, the cat has made a comeback and he still lives in VHS and DVD.
