Another
hit movie in the early 1980's was Flashdance. Released
in 1983, Flashdance starred Jennifer Beals, who was a tough
blue-collar worker and dancer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The soundtrack to the movie became as popular as the film
itself, with the song "Gloria" by Laura Branigan, "What a
Feeling" by Irene Cara, and "I Love Rock and Roll" by Joan
Jett and the Blackhearts. This Flashdance t-shirt has
a different cut to it, but is the same style that they wore
in the 1980's. The film was actually based on a true
story, but the woman whose life Hollywood based the story on
has sued repeatedly for copyright interest. |
