If you never lived in Philadelphia, you may not be familiar
with Mister Softee. Founded in the City of Brotherly
Love in 1956, Mister Softee became a popular franchise of
ice cream in the region. Today, it has over 350
franchises, but still is only in 15 states. These
Mister Softee t-shirts show the ice cream cone in the middle
with a person's face in the glass. The company was
created by Bill and Jim Conway and still remains in the
family fifty years later. Even though Mister Softee is
in less than one-third of the U.S., it has made its way over
to Hong Kong and is a hit over there. |
