Nathan's Famous is a retailer of hot dogs throughout the
country. It was originally started on Coney Island in
New York in 1916, but took quite a while to grow. The
second location of Nathan's Famous hot dogs did not open
until 1955. It took another 10 years before a third
location would be available. After the third spot was
opened, the owner decided to let the company be franchised.
These Nathan's t-shirts show the logo that became famous
after the franchising. They now have a famous hot dog
eating contest, which can be seen on ESPN and other
channels. The winners have often became famous
themselves. |
