Led by
singer Deborah Harry, the musical group Blondie was created
in New York City in 1975. They quickly became one of
the top punk rock bands of the late 1970's and early 1980's.
The Blondie t-shirt seen here features Deborah Harry.
The group broke up in 1983. The original members of
Blondie were Debbie Harry, Chris Stein, Clem Burke, Gary
Valentine, and Jimmy Destri. The Blondie t-shirt reads
"Rapture", a song that went to #1 in 1980. The group
had a number of songs reach number one in only eight years
of existence. Blondie's first hit was "X Offender",
which rose to the top of the charts in 1976. |
