Nirvana T-Shirts

Nirvana was an American grunge-rock group that formed near
Seattle, WA in 1987. The members included Kurt Cobain,
Dave Grohl, and Krist Novoselic, Chad Channing, and Jason
Everman. The lead singer of Nirvana blew his head off
with a shotgun in 1994, thus sealing the fate of the group.
In the seven years that the band existed, they became the
poster boys for Seattle grunge rock, a new genre of music in
the late 1980's and early 1990's. Nirvana has sold
over 50 million albums since they came onto the scene.
The Nirvana t-shirts shown here feature an album cover and a
performance. Kurt Cobain was heavily involved with
heroin and quickly became an addict. In the weeks
leading up to his death, he was considered very suicidal.
Although his death was ruled a suicide, questions remain
about Cobain's death. Many believe he was murdered.
Despite his death, Nirvana albums continue to sell. |
