The Ramones were an American punk rock group that originated
in Queens, New York in 1974 and stayed together for 22
years. The members were Joey Ramone, Johnny Ramone,
Dee Dee Ramone, Tommy Ramone, Marky, Richie, Elvis, and C.J.
Ramone. None of those people were born with that
last name. The group produced 14 albums and a
countless number of singles in their existence. Their
highest charted single was "Baby, I Love You", which reached
#8 in 1980. Although they never achieved commercial
