American Civil Liberties Union has been a thorn in the side
of conservatives for decades. According to this
t-shirt, the ACLU stands for communism and aiding and
abetting enemies of the United States for nearly 100 years.
The non-profit group is headquartered in New York City and
has a membership of 500,000 people. The ACLU brings
lawsuits against individuals and organizations in areas
where they believe civil liberties are at risk.
However, as these ACLU t-shirt points out, the group has
gone well beyond that scope and is neck deep in political
controversies.
