English author Eric Blair used the pseudonym of George
Orwell in his writings. He lived from 1903-1950 and is
best known for writing the book '1984'. This George
Orwell t-shirt references that book and subsequent movie
about how the world would be in 1984. He wrote the
book in 1948 and it focuses on a totalitarian state of the
world. Nineteen Eighty Four also provides a look at
what can happen when those who claim to defend the nation
create a totalitarian regime. These George Orwell
t-shirts show that the Bush regime is moving in the
direction of totalitarianism as well as Imperialism.
They have become what they are fighting against.
