Madison was the fourth President of the United States and
served from 1809-1817. He created the
Democratic-Republican party with Thomas Jefferson and is
known as one of the founding fathers of America. This
Tyranny quote t-shirt is attributed to President Madison as
he was attempting to make a point about the American
democracy. Right now, the United States is facing a
crisis that James Madison describes. Tyranny and
Oppression are two tactics the Bush administration is trying
to employ to strengthen their grasp on power. They
have done this by using the attacks of 9/11 as an excuse to
attack other sovereign nations and suppress the rights of
their own people. The Tyranny t-shirt is a stark
reminder that America is headed in the wrong direction.
