are two general forms of race car driving, open-wheeled and
stock cars. Internationally, open-wheeled racing is
more popular, but inside the United States, it is all about
stock cars. You can see a yellow and orange one in
these Stock Car t-shirts. The Daytona 500 is the Super
Bowl of stock car racing, but there are many other races
throughout the year and different series and levels.
The Nextel Cup is the highest level, but there is also the
Busch Series, a truck series, and others. Fans of
Formula One racing often finds stock car racing an oddity.
They describe the sport as "hillbilly bumper car rides".
