Nestled
in the northeast corner of Ohio is the growing city of
Akron. What was once a small town on a canal in the
early 1800's was transformed into decent sized city as a
result of the rubber industry. The Akron t-shirts are
seen here in men's and women's sizes. Today, there are
still a number of rubber manufacturers in Akron, Ohio.
Goodyear Tire and Firestone continue to employ thousands of
people. With your support wearing the Akron t-shirts,
the city should do well into the 21st century. Unlike
other manufacturing towns, it has not suffered nearly as
much. Akron was also able to bring in research and
financials jobs to the area. |
