outside the nation's capital of the District of Columbia is
the flourishing city of Alexandria. The Northern
Virginia area is a strong suburb of Washington and many
people commute back and forth. One of the Alexandria
t-shirts copies the NYC theme of love. The city is
fairly racially diverse, with 60% whites, but 23% blacks and
17% from other ethnic backgrounds. The other
Alexandria, Virginia t-shirt promotes the town itself by
stating that it rocks. The city of Alexandria does not
have a professional sports franchise, but many people are
looking at the general area for the placement of a
Washington, D.C. team or a Virginia one. The state of
Virginia is the largest to not have a major sports team.
