Seen below are
two Carmel t-shirts from our small towns on the west coast of
America grouping. Situated in the Monterey Peninsula,
Carmel-by-the-Sea, California is home to many artists and painters.
The Carmel t-shirts show welcome greetings.
With
only 4,000 people living here, you would think that
Carmel-by-the-Sea would not get the attention that it does,
but that would be incorrect. The tiny town in
California is a haven for affluent artists and writers and
the location on the Monterey Peninsula overlooking the
Pacific is second to none. The Carmel t-shirts feature
pictures of the attractions of the one square mile of land.
Clint Eastwood was once the mayor of this sleepy town.
The Carmel t-shirts on the right are more simply stated with
the 'by-the-sea' portion left off. Forest Theater is
one main attraction of the community. It was the first
outdoor theater west of the Colorado Rockies to be built.
An indoor theater was also created at this spot in Carmel
by-the-Sea and they recently had an audience of 10,000 to a
Beauty and the Beast show.
