Having
only been incorporated as a city for six years, you'd think
that the population of Centennial, Colorado would be quite
small, but that could not be further from the case.
Already it is approaching 100,000 and has cracked the top
ten in the state. The Centennial t-shirts show the
red, white, and blue on the left hand shirt. The
American colors are appropriate given the name of the city.
The other Centennial t-shirts are great for women as it
describes only the best girls. The current mayor of
the town is Randy Pye and it is part of Arapahoe County.
With respect to art imitating life, there was a fictional
1974 novel set in Centennial, Colorado, but the town did not
yet exist. |
