With
twenty one square miles of space but only 55,000 residents,
there is a lot of land to go around in Cheyenne. The
capital city of Wyoming is located in the southeast corner
of the state, near the borders of Colorado and Nebraska.
The Cheyenne t-shirts tell you that the city in Laramie
County is truly awesome. The population has stayed
fairly constant in the last fifteen years, rising only by
5,000. The second Cheyenne, Wyoming t-shirts feature
the bright, hot sun. Temperatures are usually mild,
but the summers can get very hot. Denver, Colorado
gets the most publicity for being a city one mile high in
terms of elevation, but Cheyenne is actually higher than
that. The elevation is slightly more than 6,000 feet
above sea level. |
