The
mid-Atlantic State of Delaware is the second tiniest in the
United States. It is even smaller than Connecticut.
Only five other states have a lower population, with the
lowest being Wyoming. One of these Delaware t-shirts
pokes fun at the name, asking Dela-who, Dela-what, then
Dela-where! It is one of the funnier sayings for the
first state. Liberty and Independence is the motto as
it was the first state ratify the Constitution of the U.S.
The second Delaware t-shirts talk how someone must love you.
Wilmington is the largest city, but Georgetown and Dover
both have thriving populations. The State of Delaware
touches Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New Jersey. Its
geography is long and narrow. |
