Union
County is the site for the fourth largest city in the Garden
State called Elizabeth. The New Jersey community is in
the northern part of the state, making it a New York City
suburb. The Elizabeth t-shirts can not really be used
as a person's name as the NJ abbreviation is present on one.
The name is common for girls and is often shortened to Beth
or Liz. In the Elizabeth t-shirts to the left, the NJ
is not there, but the phrasing leads you to believe it is
the city. The Union County College building, an Art
Deco Hersh Tower, and St. Patrick's Cathedral all decorate
the landscape of the 125,000 person city. To the east
of Elizabeth, you will see what New Jersey is most famous
for, an industrial wasteland. An enormous plant is
located in their backyard. |
