With
the same name as the city and county, Greenville is a
dominant fixture in the upper northwest portion of South
Carolina. The city of 56,000 expands to 96,000 when
you include the Tennessee and surrounding areas. A
huge letter 'G' is emblazoned across the chest of these
Greenville t-shirts. Several colleges are in this
vicinity, including Furman University and North Greenville
University. Shoeless Joe Jackson was from here and
could proudly wear the Greenville t-shirts that denote fame.
Also, basketball player Kevin Garnett, conductor Keith
Lockhart, and Lucas Glover live or are from Greenville.
If you visit, be sure to stop by Falls Park on the Reedy,
the Warehouse Theatre, or catch a concert at the Bi-Lo
