To the
southwest of the city of Los Angeles is the dangerous and
crime-infested city of Inglewood. The California city
of 112,000 is ripe with gang activity in an area that is
only nine square miles. The Inglewood t-shirts depict
some love for the community, despite the level of violence.
The movies Training Day and Boyz in the Hood
were both filmed at this location. The prominent
people of the town are many, so these Inglewood t-shirts are
appropriate. Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce, model
Tyra Banks, and basketball player Lisa Leslie are all from
Inglewood. They managed to survive and advance and
have become legends in their respective professions. |
