They're
aren't a lot of residents in Rutland County, Vermont or in
the town of Killington, but when winter rolls around, they
come out in full force to these mountains. The
Killington t-shirts represent the ski resort and has
snowflakes surrounding it. On some days, up to 17,000
skiers will come here. The town itself was changed to
Killington, Vermont from Sherburne back in 1999. It
can get cold on top the mountain, so these Killington
t-shirts also come in sweatshirts to keep you warmer.
The highest elevation on the mountain is 4,241 feet and
there are 200 runs. The base elevation at Killington
is 1,165 feet and they sport 1,209 acres of ski-able land.
The longest run is 6.6 miles. |
