On the
banks of Lake Erie in the north central section of the State
of Ohio is the city of Lorain. This community has
grown to 69,000 folks as of the 2000 census, but recently a
Ford Motor Company plant closed down. These Lorain
t-shirts will help rally support around town for those who
are ousted. An enormous steel mill still uses
thousands of employees from the local community. There
are not a lot left, but Lorain, Ohio is home to one of the
largest. The women make this town strong as well and
these Lorain t-shirts are proof of that. The
journalist and former hostage in Lebanon, Terry Anderson was
born in town. He ran for an Ohio state senate seat
back in 2003, but was narrowly defeated. |
